From February 21 to 23, advanced training courses for mathematics teachers from the HSE were organized in Uzbekistan on the basis of the lyceum “International House Tashkent” of the NRU “TIIAME”.
Thanks to the efforts of the Lyceum “International House Tashkent”, the NRU “TIIAME” and the HSE for three working days, mathematics teachers had an incredible opportunity to take part in specially prepared advanced training courses. Mathematics teachers not only from the capital, but also from all regions of Uzbekistan, were able to participate in them, especially for which a Webinar was organized.
The lecturer of the course, HSE specialist Elena Morozova, inspired already established specialists in her field to develop and strengthen their accumulated knowledge and experience for the sake of the younger generation. By teaching young people, teachers, being in the present, contribute to the future.
It is worth noting that the event marked the beginning of new achievements. This is a great opportunity for teachers to improve their qualifications for further career growth. It was an indisputable fact that positive feedback after the first advanced training course for mathematics teachers made it clear that courses in other subjects would be organized in the near future in order to enable each specialist to improve, or even prove the level of their professionalism.
Having successfully completed the training course, the teachers were invited to the Awarding Ceremony of the students of the advanced training course for mathematics teachers from the HSE. The award ceremony was attended by deputy principal for attracting international students Ekaterina Stanislavovna Belousova and Bakhtiyor Alimovich Khudayarov, Vice-rector of the NRU “TIIAME”. The lyceum “International House Tashkent” was chosen as the venue of this event for a reason. The reason for this was the meeting that took place on April 8, 2021, a memorandum was signed between the rectors of the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” and the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” in order to strengthen close cooperation.
Noting the importance of meeting the current needs of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the NRU “TIIAME” and the HSE recognized the need to combine efforts to improve the quality of training of schoolchildren and a Talent Identification Center was opened on the basis of the lyceum together with the HSE. The main objectives of the center are to strengthen close cooperation on an equal and mutually beneficial basis in order to promote the development of international education. Seminars, an international Youth Olympiad, consulting meetings and entrance exams are held annually on the basis of the center.
