Inter House History

In 1987, in cooperation with the leadership and teachers of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, an academic lyceum was founded on the basis of the 142nd secondary school, where talented students were selected. So AL “International House-Tashkent” TIIIMSH appeared. During this period, the educational institution was headed by Ibragimova Elmira Zakirovna. TIIIMSH specialists taught lyceum students, this allowed to improve the quality of knowledge gained by students entering universities.

In 1993, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan allocated funds for the creation of an academic lyceum. With the participation of Dean of the University of London Susan Eates and professors of Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov Burak N.L. and Rogozhina V.T. in the academic lyceum were delivered teaching aids.

In 1994, AL “International House-Tashkent” was reorganized as a new educational institution in accordance with the requirements of the educational process. From 1994 to 2007, it functioned in the public education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan in grades 9-11.

An educational program for an active, entrepreneurial, and harmoniously-developed generation that benefits society has been introduced at the academic lyceum. In 1995, the first graduates of AL “International House-Tashkent” were 75, they successfully passed exams and became students of higher educational institutions of our country and 25 graduates continued their studies in the UK, USA and France.

In 1994-2008, about two thousand students graduated from the academic lyceum. Many of them work in government agencies, international organizations accredited in the country, the United Nations, UNESCO and the Red Cross.

In 1997, Chris Knight, a professor at the University of Nottingham, first conducted training courses for students, where they were awarded certificates from the university at the end of the course. In 1998, with the Ambassador Extraordinary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Berdzhikha Kopecky and the gymnasium named after Leona Grumliki in the Czech Republic, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Eco-Gymnasium in the city of Brno, under which teachers and students of the Lyceum were able to visit the Czech Republic several times. In addition, in 1998, the academic lyceum was awarded the diploma of the director of the media Freimut Duva for publishing his own Independent Newspaper.

In 1999, a seminar was held on spiritual and educational issues with the participation of Mr. James Devin, a volunteer at the Families for Peace International Federation. In the same year, the first issue of “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” was published.

In 2007, on the basis of a joint order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center for Secondary Special and Vocational Education No. 10 dated May 11, 2007 and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 11, 2007, the Academic Lyceum “International House-Tashkent »TIIAME.

From 1995 to 2007, the total number of graduates was 2290 people. Enrollment in universities during this period exceeded 95%, of which about 400 graduates continued their studies at higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.

Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 26, 2017 No. PQ-3290 “On measures to further improve the activities of secondary specialized, vocational and technical educational institutions” “IHT” TIIAME transformed into a lyceum with a two-year training program.

In 2015, Alisher Khasanovich Tillaev was appointed director of the academic lyceum.

Since then, International House-Tashkent has been actively cooperating with international educational institutions and organizations.

In particular, in April 2017, an agreement was signed with the British University International House-London, in which teachers and students were able to improve their English proficiency in London. In October 2017, in partnership with the Chinese company Huawei, the first Smart-room was created in Uzbekistan. In December 2018, an agreement was reached on cooperation with the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia), and in April 2019, on the basis of a unique, unparalleled bilateral agreement between the CIS countries, it was decided to open MGIMO directions for issuing bilateral diplomas in the Academic Lyceum “International House-Tashkent” TIIAME. In addition, in 2019, cooperation agreements were signed with the University of Great Britain, the Russian Aviation University, and universities in South Korea. In June 2019, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Russian University of the Higher School of Economics, and in July 2019, teachers and students of the academic lyceum were sent to training courses at the Russian State University for the Humanities, where they were awarded certificates at the end.

Our Lyceum

Since 2009, the academic lyceum has a capacity of 495 seats, a total area of ​​6890 square meters, the building has 21 classrooms: including 1 chemical, 1 physical, 1 biological laboratory, 2 computer rooms and 2 language laboratories, an assembly hall with a capacity of 150 seats. There is a conference room, a gym with 100 seats, an RPI with more than 8,640 books.

Academics

There are 4 departments in the academic lyceum – “Exact Sciences”, “Social and Human Sciences”, “English Language”, “Uzbek and Russian Philology”. Training is conducted in groups “Exact Sciences-Economics”; “Exact science – technology”; “Social and humanitarian”; MGIMO – Exact Sciences (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Moscow). A total of 523 students study in 20 groups.

Currently, the main goal of the academic lyceum is to select the most talented students in secondary schools, further develop their intellectual abilities and prepare lyceum students to continue their studies at the university, demonstrate and activate the students’ creative potential, taking into account individual talents and abilities. learning environment that forms and develops self-reliance skills in the process of acquiring knowledge. It is planned to carry out and solve important tasks in the field of education, introduce modern forms of organization of the educational process and constantly update its content, taking into account the experience of leading domestic and foreign educational institutions.
